Libya's oil production rises to 680,000 barrels per day

Libya's oil production has reached 680,000 barrels per day (bpd), a source told Reuters on Thursday. That marks a 36% increase from the output of around 500,000 barrels per day seen earlier this month.

On Monday, Libya’s National Oil Corp (NOC) ended force majeure on the last facilities closed by an eight-month blockade of oil exports by eastern forces, which saw output crash from 1.2 million barrels per day to 100,000 barrels per day.
