UK: Flash GDP rises 0.7% in Q4, as expected

FXStreet (Barcelona) - On a quarterly basis preliminary UK GDP increased 0.7% in Q4, slightly down from the 0.8% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today by National Statistics. This result is in line with market consensus.

Year-over-year GDP grew 2.7% in Q4, following +1.9% in Q3 and slightly below expectations of 2.8% growth.
