White House Official: Trump, Xi meeting seen as first step in results-oriented relationship

According to a White House's official quoted by Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump will discuss with Chinese President Xi Jinping a new "elevated" streamlined framework for dialogue with "clear deadlines for achieving results".

The official added that North Korea's issue is seen as a "test" for relationship, while notes that U.S. plans won't change in deployment of THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea, despite China's complaints.
