NZD/JPY blasts through previous support below 77

The NZD/JPY foreign exchange cross rate is last quoted at 76.72 bids off recent session and weekly lows printed at 76.65 during early Tokyo open on the back of massive Yen strength and Kiwi weakness.

NZD/JPY selling off below the 77 handle

The NZD/JPY cross has just broken below previous early Monday weekly lows and Friday lows around the 76.70 area, now digging into new lows slightly above the 76.50 level few pips shy of August 22 lows, leaving only behind early August lows around the 76.35, the lowest since late June.

NZD/JPY key technical levels

Immediate support to the downside for NZD/JPY lies at mentioned August 05/07/22 lows 76.35/40, followed by June 07 lows at 75.75, and June 11/20/25 lows at 75.05/00. To the upside, closest resistance shows at current levels as July 11 lows 76.70, followed by NY session lows at 76.87, and NY session weekly highs at 77.59.
